Te Haerenga: A journey of challenge and discovery

Te Haerenga, is the name affectionately used for Dilworth Rural Campus, an holistic education boarding school campus for Year 9 boys. Three curriculum strands tie the journey together: academic, outdoor education, and personal and social growth (PaSG). Wellbeing philosophy permeates campus activities, through innovative strengths applications, restorative discipline, student voice, community engagement and coaching and mentoring. A balanced life-style is encouraged through technology guidelines, fitness programme and considered nutritional regime.

This presentation briefly offers some examples across our campus where wellbeing science meets application in the staffroom, classrooms, playgrounds, dining rooms, home application and the great outdoors.
